Group Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Glomac Berhad, Datuk Seri FD Iskandar yesterday received the REHDA Patron Award organized by the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) at One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, in conjunction with its 50th Anniversary Dinner celebrations. The award ceremony featured our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as the Guest of Honor, also present was the Minister of Housing and Local Government, YB Nga Kor Ming and the President of REHDA, Datuk NK Tong.

The 2023 Malaysian Housing and Property Summit organised by FIABCI Malaysia and The KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific today bestowed the Malaysian Property Icon Leadership award on Glomac Berhad’s GMD/CEO, Datuk Seri FD Iskandar. This award is to recognise Datuk Seri’s valuable contributions to the property sector in terms sharing his vast experience that helped shape, enhance and improve the development of the housing industry.

Saujana Perdana, Glomac’s township in Sungai Buloh was awarded the Best Affordable Township at The Property Insight Prestigious Developer Awards 2019.   Our Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr Brandon Ong received the award from YB Tuan Haji Khalid bin Abdul Samad, Minister of Federal Territories at The Shangri-la Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 3rd May 2019.

The Property Insight Prestigious Developer Award 2019  presented the Best Industry Leadership to Ybhg Datuk Seri FD Iskandar, CEO / GMD of Glomac Berhad in recognition of his long-time leadership in the property industry. The award was presented by YBM Senator Dato’ Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad, the Deputy Minister of Housing & Local Government on 3rd May at The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Glomac won the Asean Property Awards under the category of Innovative Developer Award 2018/2019. The award was received by Mr. Brandon Ong, Glomac Berhad’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). The event was held on the 15th March 2019, at the One World Hotel Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Glomac Berhad’s Group Executive Chairman, YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ FD Mansor has been conferred the prestigious BrandLaureate – Premier Brand Icon Leadership Award 2013 in The BrandLaureate Icon Award 2013 for his illustrious career as one of Malaysia’s top business entrepreneurs and corporate leaders.

The annual Brand Laureate Awards which was held on the 9th October 2013 took place at the Majestic Hotel provide recognition to inspirational leaders who dedicate their lives and profession to the country. The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation, APBF initiated The Brand Laureate Brand Icon Award, to honour the country’s ICONS. Individuals who receive the awards are those who contribute to the development of the nation and the economy with their innovative thoughts.

The awards was presented to YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ FD Mansor by Malacca Chief Minister YB Datuk Wira Idris Haron, the President of the Malaysian Institute of Management Tun Mohammad Hanif Omar and Brand Laureate President, Dr KK Johan. 

Glomac Berhad was one of the winners at the Malaysia Investor Relations Award (MIRA) 2013 and took home the award in the small cap category for Best Company for investor relations (IR) practices.

The awards luncheon was held on the 3 July 2013 at Mahkota Ballroom 2 – Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. The awards was attended by Securities Commission deputy chief Datuk Dr Nik Ramlah Mahmood, Bursa Malaysia chairman Tun Mohamed Dzaiddin Abdullah and Bursa Malaysia chief executive officer Datuk Tajuddin Atan

To benchmark Investor Relations (IR) performance of Malaysian listed companies and IR professionals, MIRA had set out to commission a comprehensive, professional poll of all relevant buy-side and sell-side firms investing in or covering Malaysian equities, focusing on evaluating and rating the IR-related activities conducted by Malaysian companies and corporate individuals/professionals in the year 2012. Over 800 investment professionals were invited to take part in the survey.

The awards are now presented annually in 12 countries across Asia, and are the largest and most stringent awards of its kind in this region. Each nominee undergoes extensive quantitative research and score-carding, compulsory site audit, and has to demonstrate a consistent and outstanding adoption of responsible practices and people-centric policies, prior to being shortlisted for judging by a panel of local and international judges.
